We're thrilled to be back at Leeds' beautiful Hyde Park Picture House for the third year running with an all-day programme of great silent films accompanied with live music. The day starts with classic Laurel and Hardy comedy (12pm); Tod Browning's grisly, twisted melodrama The Unknown (starring Joan Crawford and Lon Chaney, 1.30pm); a pair of French 1920s classics: the haunting, heartbreaking Ménilmontant (with a specially-created new live score combining live foley and piano), and Germaine Dulac's rarely-screened La Souriante Madame Beudet (3.15pm). Rounding the day off is the Danish screen legend Asta Neilsen as an extraordinary female Hamlet (5.10pm). We finish at 7pm. Find out more about each show here.
Day passes: £23, £21 (concession), £19 (members), £7 (25 and under), and children 14 and under £1.
Tickets for each individual screening are on sale - see the full What's On listing here.
